The ancient market town of Oswestry offers a unique range of shops eateries galleries events and a host of attractions to enjoy. The area is a paradise for walkers and cyclists alike with a superb choice of foot paths trails and routes to explore. Discover the Ceiriog Valley Tanat Valley and Shropshire Hills or navigate the 177 miles of Offa s Dyke. There are plenty of pretty villages dotted around the area including Llansilin and Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant with a choice of excellent pubs cafes and restaurants. Visit the British Ironwork Centre and National Trust s Erddig Chirk and Powis Castlesor and head to The Pistyll a dramatic 240 foot waterfall in Llanrhaedr which is the tallest single drop waterfall in the UK. Up the steps and into the porch with a handy bench to take off your boots hang up your coats and enter this cosy cottage with original features including exposed beams tiled floors and quirky features. The porch opens into the dining room with pellet burning stove in the feature fireplace and the dining table taking centre stage by the window. This is a great room to enjoy a meal together and plan your holiday activities. Straight ahead is the well-equipped kitchen with everything you may need including electric oven and induction hob microwave fridge dishwasher and washing machine in the utility area in the hall. The shower room has been creatively designed with shower and WC also on the ground floor. Back through the dining room you will find yourself in the welcoming lounge with comfortable sofas tasteful furnishing Smart TV and a wood burner effect electric fire for chillier evenings set in the feature fireplace. Heading up to the first floor you will find three bedrooms to choose from two double bedrooms and a twin all have lovely views to wake up to. Start the day with a leisurely shower in the first floor shower room with shower and WC before you head out for another full day out. Stepping outside you can relax at the end of a fantastic day and admire the glorious rural views from the small front garden or enjoy al fresco dining in the rear courtyard with furniture and charcoal BBQ. If you are bringing your bikes there is a lockable store by the private parking area. Private parking is available for two cars and further roadside parking is available outside the cottage subject to availability.
