About Great Walsingham Holiday Barn

The picturesque neighbouring villages of Great and Little Walsingham are perfectly placed for enjoying this breath-taking and fascinating area. Great Walsingham is a charming village with pretty cottages and the larger medieval village of Little Walsingham is home to the Roman Catholic National Shrine in honour of the Annunciation as well as the ruins of a 12th century priory. You can take a trip on the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway which will take you to the lovely and bustling coastal village of Wells-next-the-Sea. Hunstanton and Heacham are also nearby. The thriving market towns of Holt and Fakenham are nearby or you could visit some of the area s many beautiful nature reserves including those at Blakeney Point Titchwell and Snettisham. On entering this lovely cottage which has been thoughtfully and imaginatively converted from being the village foundry s wheel house and which retains plenty of delightful original features a lovely hallway leads you through to the stylish and attractive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With plenty of comfy seating Smart TV and a wood burner effect electric fire the comfortable and welcoming lounge makes an ideal space for sitting back and relaxing in at the end of a wonderful day. You will also find a charming dining area for up to six guests and the light and airy kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob fridge/freezer dishwasher washer/dryer and microwave. Exploring the ground floor further you will find two cosy bedrooms. There s a double room with an en-suite shower room which is complete with a walk-in shower and WC and there s a twin room with exposed brickwork which houses an impressive arched mirror. The bathroom can also be found on the ground floor and is complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. Heading up to the first floor there is a large twin bedroom with an additional single bed for a child. Stepping outside you will find spacious and pretty enclosed front and rear gardens. The front garden features beautiful plants and a gravel path leading to the parking area where there is ample off-road parking space for two cars. The rear garden is accessed from the kitchen and is mainly lawn with a small patio with table and chairs allowing you to relax and dine al fresco. A stone path leads through to the rear of the foundry.
