You have all you need nearby though if you want to explore the area visit the Judge s Lodgings National Trust s Croft and Powis Castle medieval castles such as Ludlow and Stokesay or take a trip to a variety of interesting gardens such Hampton Court Gardens and Hergest Croft Gardens. Other places of interest in the local area include the black and white trail Brecon Beacons National Park the Shropshire Hills and the towns of Leominster Hay-on-Wye and Ludlow. There are historic sites to see cultural events to attend culinary delights to savour and activities such as walking cycling and horse riding to enjoy. This inviting cottage stylishly and creatively refurbished in 2019 is full of interesting objects and all the thoughtful little extras for your holiday. The door opens into the kitchen/diner with high ceilings exposed beams and a cosy wood burner. If you decide to eat or rustle up a meal in the kitchen it is well-equipped with all the equipment you need including an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. The dining table is perfectly positioned to enjoy a delicious meal rustled up with local ingredients you have purchased on your travels or for a game of cards. There are two chairs by the wood burner to relax in as you peruse the cookery books for your favourite recipe. After dinner pop through to the spacious lounge with wood burner effect electric fire comfy sofa and TV/DVD for cosy nights in. Maybe open the French doors to let the outside in and listen to birdsong. After a full day out take a leisurely shower in the stylish bathroom with shower over bath and WC on the ground floor dry off with soft towels and retire to one of the beautiful bedrooms with freshly laundered linen. Head up the spiral staircase to the first floor where you will find the shower room with shower and WC and two bedrooms to choose from. The first is a king-size bedroom and the second the twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request at time of booking).
