Steeped in history with some of Europe s finest surviving castles Brecon Castle overlooking the River Usk Abergavenny Castle set against the spectacular hills and Crickhowell Castle a prominent feature within a small market town. For a day trip there are many attractions including The Big Pit National Coal Museum Blaenavon Iron Works and the National Showcaves Centre.
