Situated in a pretty street in Brecon just a short walk away from the Brecon to Monmouth Canal on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. This splendid market town provides an ideal base and easy access into the National Park perfect for walking enthusiasts with breath-taking landscapes to be enjoyed from riverside to mountain peak. Steeped in history with some of Europe s finest surviving castles Brecon Castle overlooking the River Usk Abergavenny Castle set against the spectacular hills and Crickhowell Castle a prominent feature within a small market town. For a day trip there are many attractions including The Big Pit National Coal Museum Blaenavon Iron Works and the National Showcaves Centre. Enter this delightful terraced cottage with sweet shutters into the welcoming lounge. This inviting space has a contemporary finish set against traditional features. There is a large fireplace home to the wood burner effect electric fire comfortable sofa and a TV perfect to relax and unwind in after a day of exploration. Head through to the pretty and well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob microwave coffee machine and a washer/dryer. Cottage stairs lead up to the first floor landing where you will find the beautiful bedroom with king-size bed making this an ideal venue for those looking for a romantic break. Across the landing is the shower room refurbished in 2019 with shower and WC. Outside there is a cute enclosed patio with chairs so you can relax and plan your next day s activities as you sit alongside a warming chiminea with a basket of logs provided. There is roadside parking just along the street subject to availability and a public car park nearby.
