The property was built in 1725 during the reign of King George I. The historic deeds show links to Trafalgar Estate and admiral Lord Nelson. For many years Brickworth was ran as a working farm and later riding stables but now just five acres remain as part of the estate. Ideally located between historic Salisbury and Maritime Southampton the Farmhouse is a perfect starting point to explore Stonehenge the New Forest and many historic attractions in the area. Fans of aviation can easily reach Old Sarum airfield with the Boscombe Down aviation collection or the Museum of Army Flying. The famous Longleat Safari Park and Pepper Pig world are great days out for all the family and definitely worth a visit. Approach the property along the gravelled driveway and park immediately outside the farmhouse. The entrance porch leads on to the entrance hallway where there are Victorian floor tiles. Leading from the hallway is the separate WC and the farmhouse kitchen which leads through to the utility room. There is a family bedroom with king-size bed and two additional single beds with an en-suite bathroom with spa bath and WC and a double bedroom. Also on this floor is a bathroom with freestanding bath separate shower and WC. Completing the first floor is a further family room offering a double bed and bunk beds with en-suite shower room with shower and WC. The walled gardens to the farmhouse are a particular feature. There are several terraces for you to enjoy and a covered lily pond has pride of place in the centre of the garden. There is also a BBQ for guests wising to dine alfresco. A gate from the walled garden leads to a paddock which guests can enjoy perfect for football or exercising your four-legged friends. There is ample off-road parking on the gravel driveway.
