About Alford Holiday Cottage

Alford is situated within easy reach of many places of interest. Louth was voted the best market town in the UK in 2017 and the Hubbards Hills an area of natural beauty in Louth is well worth a visit. A good selection of individual shops and well known stores can also be found in the town and Horncastle is known for an abundance of antique and curiosity shops. Skegness Anderby Creek Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea all have great beaches and Gibraltar Point Nature reserve is also within easy reach. The historic city of Lincoln is perfect for a days sightseeing where you can see one of the four surviving original copies of the magna carter. There is an abundance of lovely walks and cycle routes in and around the picturesque Lincolnshire Wolds. Cadwell Park Racing Circuit is only a short drive and in November and December visit Donna Nook Nature Reserve to see the Grey Seal breeding grounds. Upon entering the cottage you will find yourself in the handy utility space with washing machine and fridge/freezer. Head through to the characterful kitchen with traditional tiled floor and a range of country style kitchen units equipped with electric oven and hob and microwave. The original stove is a nod to the cottages history and makes a beautiful feature in this room. Come together around the dining table and enjoy a meal with a special someone. Leading through to the lounge which provides comfortable seating TV and an open fire which is great for getting cosy through the chillier months. There is also a ground floor bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Upstairs on the first floor the cottage offers two pleasant double bedrooms having built in wardrobes with a country cottage theme and provide the perfect place to get a good night s rest. Outside there is a spacious back garden with a beautiful Bramley apple tree time it right to enjoy the gorgeous fruit. There is also a table and chairs for dining alfresco and a spacious lawned garden. There is ample roadside parking. Need to know: 2 bedrooms doubles. 1 bathroom. Electric oven and hob and microwave.
