Explore the Mortimer Trail and walks to Hergest Ridge inspirational for Elgar and Mike Oldfield. Head to Presteigne with the Judges Lodgings or to Ludlow with its castle. Visit Stokesay Castle Hampton Court Gardens Hergest Croft Gardens and National Trust s Powis Castle and Gardens. The area is a paradise for walkers and cyclists to explore Radnor Valley the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Shropshire Hills. After dinner relax in the lounge and plan your activities or watch a film on the TV. Around the corner is the lovely bathroom with bath and WC and the double bedroom designed for a good night s sleep. Up the wooden staircase to the first floor you will find the further three beautiful bedrooms to choose from another double bedroom and two twin bedrooms with exposed beams and lovely views to wake up to. After a full day out relax in a hot bubble bath in the second bathroom with bath and WC. Outside the house is surrounded by the enclosed garden with lawn trees and gates to the lake and into the paddocks. This idyllic spot is perfect to unwind and embrace the view or to enjoy a morning coffee or al fresco dining on the picnic benches on the patio. If you are bringing your bikes there is a shed with storage space and hose to wash them down there is also off-road parking at the property for four cars.
