From your doorstep you can cross the river and walk up the footpath to the popular Monsal Trail a traffic free route for walkers cyclists and horse riders through some of the Peak District s most spectacular limestone dales. The pretty villages of Litton and Tideswell are nearby and host an array of amenities for you to enjoy such as pubs cafes and shops. A short drive away are the delightful country historic houses of Chatsworth House and Gardens and Haddon Hall don t forget to stop at the farm shop and stock up on local goodies. Buxton is a famous spa town and home of the Buxton Opera House which hosts many cultural events throughout the year. Enter the property on the first floor and head through to the kitchen/diner. With bright and contemporary kitchen units offering everything you need for a home from home stay such as electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Enjoy chatting over breakfast at the nearby kitchen table and chairs. Just off this room is a separate WC. The lounge boasts high ceilings and impressive views providing a special place to relax. Curl up on the comfortable seating by the TV and reflect on the day. There is also a dining table ideally placed to enjoy a memorable meal with loved ones. Heading down to the ground floor you will find two pretty bedrooms a double and a twin with everything you need for a relaxing stay. There is also a nearby shower room with shower and WC. Heading up to the second floor is a further double bedroom nestled within the original beams you might need to mind your head and watch your step but this all adds to the character. This room also has an en-suite shower room and WC. Outside explore the shared gardens with multiple seating areas dotted around to enjoy the views. There is private outdoor seating available directly outside the cottage enjoying the countryside air and allocated off-road parking available for two cars.
