This very quaint cottage dates back to the 1870 s and was originally the flour shop for the Mill next door. The interior has been sympathetically modernised retaining many of its traditional features. The terraced rear garden runs up to a wooded hillside where there is a large summerhouse with balcony and picnic area. Situated in Low Valleyfield which is adjacent to the beautiful conservation village of Culross a step back in time with fascinating restored 17th and 18th century buildings including the National Trust Culross Palace dating from 1597. The popular Outlander series was filmed in the village in 2014. For walkers or cyclists the Fife coastal path passes the cottage and there are many fine woodland walks in the immediate area. There is an abundance of bird and wildlife locally. This location is ideal for accessing all the attractions of Dunfermline Edinburgh Stirling Perthshire and the East Neuk of Fife. Games/play facilities: the summerhouse has a children s slide. As you walk into the cottage you will find the cosy lounge with open fire TV DVD hi-fi and iPod dock this leads through to the well equipped kitchen with gas hob electric oven microwave fridge freezer dishwasher washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a dining room next to the kitchen with seating for 6 and the bathroom is also on the ground floor with shower over the traditional bath. Heading up stairs you will find a lovely double and twin bedroom on the first floor both with coombed ceilings and views across the quaint garden.
