About Isle of Skye Holiday Cottage

Glenbrittle is at the end of a 7 mile single track road famous for its scenery and landscapes that will take our breath away at every turn. Skye is one of the top locations in Scotland to visit and will not fail to impress. The Cullins offer challenging climbing but there are lovely walks and viewpoints in the surrounding forests enjoy fishing and kayaking on the river along the shore an abundance of wildlife and birds can be seen. At the foot of the Black Cuillins near Glenbrittle are the magical Fairy Pools beautifully crystal clear blue pools on the River Brittle these famous pools entice visitors from all over the world. Visit the famous Talisker distillery Armadale Castle Dunvegan Castle and Gardens along with numerous Arts and Crafts galleries. The cottage is accessed from a parking bay by a wooden footbridge over the River Brittle and a 200-yard uphill footpath the walk is rewarded by stunning views of the towering Cuillins rising steeply from the shore. On arrival this semi-detached cottage you step inside to the conservatory where you can sit and take in the outstanding views towards the Cullins or play a board game from selection provided. Continue through to the spacious open plan living area with modern fully equipped kitchen with electric hob and oven fridge with ice box washing machine microwave and coffee machine. Lounge area with comfy sofa and dining table and chairs. Heading back through the hallway you will find the bathroom with bath shower cubicle and WC and the double bedroom with ample storage and TV. Stepping back outside there is an enclosed garden. Parking is available in the parking bay by the wooden bridge. Owner lives adjacent to the property. Need to know: 1 Bedroom Double with TV. Kitchen: Electric hob and oven, fridge with ice box, washing machine, microwave and filter coffee machine.

Shower room:

with bath, shower cubicle and WC. Electric and heating included. Regret no dogs. Seasonal shop 0.5 miles and walking distant to a small beach. Portree 23 miles with a selection of shops, pubs & restaurants. Arrival: 4pm.

The cottage is accessed from a parking bay by a wooden footbridge over the River Brittle and a 200 yard uphill footpath. Owners live adjacent to the property.. The owner is an experienced fisherman and is willing to accompany client s sea or loch fishing, please arrange directly with owner. Bring you fishing rods..
