At the town s railway station you can join the traffic-free Tarka Trail perfect for cyclists and walkers. Bike hire is available from Fremington Quay. Also within easy reach are Combe Martin Braunton Nature Reserve Exmoor National Park and coastal resorts such as Lynton and Lynmouth. You could also visit the picturesque town of Ilfracombe or take a day trip to Lundy Island. Fishing is available approximately three miles away.
