Ideally situated for relaxing in extensive grounds and with an abundance of wildlife this beautiful lodge is the dream getaway for anyone wanting to get away from it all and reconnect with the great outdoors. For walkers both Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks are close by where guests can explore the rugged beauty of inland Devon. If you would rather head to the beach on a sunny day the sandy beaches of Westward Ho! Instow Bude Croyde Woolacombe and Saunton are all just a short drive away. Other local attractions include Dartington Crystal RHS Rosemoor Gardens Cobbaton Combat Museum and Quince Honey Farm. For children The Milky Way and The Big Sheep are also close by. This lovely log cabin which is accessed by a long woodland drive offers three bedrooms with room for six guests sleeping comfortably. The first is one double bedroom with an added single bed upstairs with TV and balcony overlooking one of the five lakes. There is also a further double bedroom and one single downstairs on the ground floor. The family bathroom has a bath with separate shower and WC. The large lounge has ample comfortable seating and a TV. The kitchen and dining area come well-equipped with an electric oven and hob fridge microwave washing machine and TV. Outside the lodge is the wonderful addition of a private hot tub on the veranda and a picturesque woodland surrounding the property offering some shelter and privacy. Guests also have access to five lakes for relaxing short walks which are well stocked with carp and other coarse fish. Ample parking is available.
