One of two beautiful lodges (in a complex of 15) situated in a quiet and peaceful part of the North Devon countryside. Approached by a long woodland drive and nestled among the trees this getaway is ideally situated for perfect relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. For beach lovers the sandy expanses of Westward Ho! Instow Bude Croyde Woolacombe and Saunton are all just a short drive away. Other attractions include Dartington Crystal RHS Rosemoor Gardens and Quince Honey Farm. For those with an adventurous side quad biking the Tarka Trail cycling route paint balling and a huge range of walks and hikes across the moors are all close by. This secluded lodge offers romantic privacy for couples and honeymooners looking for a retreat. There is one double bedroom upstairs which is reached by a ladder. The room has access to a balcony with views of the lake and woodland below and beyond. This is the perfect for spending a warm evening with a glass of wine or two. The downstairs bathroom has a shower over bath and WC and if you would prefer to stay in to cook and enjoy this space the well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven fridge washing machine microwave and TV. The lounge and dining area also has a TV. Please note that due to the position of the bedroom in this property it is unsuitable for babies. Outside guests are welcome to fish at one of the five lakes that are within the valley. All of them are well stocked with carp and other coarse fish. Ample parking is available.
