This former ironworkers terraced house has recently been refurbished to a high standard. With its large yet cosy interior there is also some beautiful tiered gardens to relax in to the front of the property. The accommodation is situated close to Abergavenny well known as one Wales top culinary centres which makes it the perfect base to experience a true taste of Wales. There are countless walks and footpaths right from your doorstep and a beautiful nature reserve to explore within driving distance. The historic town of Abergavenny is nearby and full of shops pubs restaurants cafes and a weekly local produce and craft market. There are also numerous galleries museums castles to explore a Welsh vineyard and narrow boat trips. You can explore the heritage centres of Blaenavan Iron Works and The Big Pit Mining Museum or even try stargazing at the Brecon Beacons Visitor Centre. There is an abundance of activities to enjoy including horse riding golf rock climbing scrambling caving cave diving canoeing and kayaking on the Rivers Usk and Wye. Upon entering the cottage you will find the cosy lounge/dining area with two comfy sofas a wood burner and a TV/DVD for enjoying your favourite shows and films on at the end of a long day. There is a large farmhouse dining table too for you to enjoy your meals at. Walking into the kitchen you will discover it is extremely well-equipped with an electric oven with hob a microwave a dishwasher a fridge and a washer/dryer. Upstairs there are two bedrooms; one double bedroom and one raised with a raised double bed (which may not be suitable for the very elderly or the very young). The bathroom contains a shower over the bath and a WC. To the rear there is a small courtyard area complete with garden furniture. The property is reached via steps leading from the parking space. Shop is one and a half miles away and there is a local pub within walking distance at the end of the row.
