From Instow you can join The Tarka Trail which is perfect for walkers and cyclists and offers some lovely riverside views and follows the estuary round to Braunton. Venturing further afield you can explore North Devon s many attractions including a range of surfing beaches Tapeley Park Dartington Crystal The Big Sheep The Milky Way Adventure Park and the many National Trust properties in the area such as Arlington Court. There s a seasonal passenger ferry that will take you across to the historic fishing village of Appledore. You could board the MS Oldenburg for a day trip to Lundy Island visit the picturesque town of Ilfracombe or simply relax in the evenings and enjoy village hospitality in the local pubs. On entering this charming cottage you will find yourself in the spacious and attractive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The welcoming and attractive lounge is a perfect place to relax with Freeview TV/DVD and a woodburner-effect electric fire. The bright and airy dining area is ideal whether you re sitting down to a special meal or enjoying a snack.
