Found in the small hamlet of Allensford right in rural Northumberland the cottage is situated in a vibrant and bustling wedding venue that covers extensive grounds. As well as the stunning and country walks that cover the estate guests can enjoy great food and drinks at the onsite bar and restaurant. If you re feeling adventurous more pubs and restaurants can be found a short drive from the property. The cottage is ideally situated for the best local attractions so whether it s a day exploring historic Alnwick Castle a trip back in time at Beamish Open Air Museum or an indulgent shopping trip into Newcastle city centre everything that the north east of England has to offer is only a drive away. After you ve parked up and taken in the attractively landscaped grounds you ll be welcomed into the cottage through the pretty miniature front garden. You ll find a large contemporary living room on the first floor complete with TV and dining table ideal for entertaining the family after a busy day out. The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker and hob fridge microwave and dishwasher all perfect for cooking a delicious meal. Two king-size bedrooms ( these rooms can be turned into twin rooms upon request) are on the ground floor and there is also a separate shower room on this floor complete with WC. The first floor of the cottage has one stylish king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom. As well as using the grass area outside the cottage guests are welcome to explore the grounds with over twenty acres of gardens and paths perfect for a brisk morning walk. There s also a shared indoor swimming pool spa and gym so you can either sit back and relax or work up a sweat. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 3 king size (2 can be converted to twin rooms using zip and link beds, providing sleeping space for up to 6 guests). 2 bathrooms 1 shower room with WC, 1 en suite shower room with WC. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Shared pool, gym and spa facilities. Electric and central heating included. Wi Fi available throughout the hotel and grounds but not in the cottage. Regret no pets. Onsite bar and restaurant. Short drive to local amenities. TV/DVD. High chair available from Reception.
