With Elan Valley right on the doorstep enjoy idyllic landscapes and an abundance of wildlife making for lovely walks for all the family as well as keen walkers with the popular Elan Valley Trail following the route of the old railway close by. 850 acres of wilderness water with an abundance of brown trout and other stock creates the perfect opportunity for a day of angling. For variety the town of Rhayader is in range and is said to be the oldest settlement in Mid-Wales. On the ground floor the spacious lounge includes a TV/DVD a woodburner (the first basket of logs is included) and light and lovely décor. From the lounge the dining room offers seating for up to six guests. The kitchen is well-equipped with a Belfast sink range-style oven and hob dishwasher fridge/ freezer and microwave and the utility room consists of a washing machine and tumble dryer. The accommodation hosts three bedrooms: one double with an en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath shower and WC; one further double with a feature fireplace and one twin with feature fireplace creating feelings of comfort and relaxation. There is also a separate bathroom with shower over the bath and WC close by for convenience. Outside there is an enclosed garden by trees and bushes with a lawn to the front and side of the accommodation which includes a seating area adjacent to an open stream. All these features add up to a tranquil atmosphere within a lovely countryside setting.
