Known for its Victorian architecture warm micro-climate azure seas and sandy beaches Torquay has a fantastic range of shops including high street favourites and some wonderful independent boutiques. The choice of eateries is just as varied as the shopping experience with something to suit all tastes from tearooms to smart bistros and seafood specialists. There are plenty of places to enjoy days out in and around the town including the Living Seas aquarium Torre Abbey the network of caves at Kents Cavern and the attractive village of Cockington with its stately home and craft centre. This ground floor apartment is situated within a stunning Gothic manor house offering a high-standard of accommodation. On entering the property guests will find the homely lounge/diner with its cosy sofas dining table TV/DVD and doors which open out onto the private patio. Just next to this is the kitchen which is well-equipped with an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. The bedroom is a restful comfortable space with a king-size bed built-in wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom with shower-over-bath and WC. Two additional single futons can be added on request. Outside the property has its own private patio offering a tranquil place to enjoy an al fresco meal or drinks at the end of the day. Guests also have access to the large communal gardens which have beautiful sea views. The lovely indoor swimming pool occupies a conservatory wing of the house and there is also a sauna gym and games room with table tennis. There is one allocated parking space provided in a secure car park.
