Ideally positioned for touring the whole of Cornwall peninsula with its central location. It is 5 miles from Portreath for the closest beach and the South West Coast Path. You can still see many remnants of the once bustling mining industry in the area suck as King Edwards mine. Travel to St Agnes to see some of the best positioned examples at Wheal Coates. Take a climb up Carn Brea to get magnificent views across Cornwall to the north. One a clear day you can also see the south coast from the westerly area of the hill. In the evenings visit one of many popular local pubs serving good food. If visitors feel like pampering themselves a sauna spa pool gym massage and beauty treatments can be arranged via a local hotel. Approached via a private tree-lined drive these semi-detached barn conversions make for the perfect retreat retaining much original charm with either wooden flooring exposed beams open stonework or A-frame timbers. The kitchen area comes equipped with an electric oven a microwave and a fridge with an ice compartment while a delicious cream tea will also be waiting for you on arrival. Outside is a large garden area with seating a BBQ so there s abundant scope to enjoy afternoons and evenings grilling up a few barbecued treats. Guests also have free reign of a field which is excellent for kite-flying as well as more than 25 acres of farmland. There is also ample off-road parking.
