Let us take you away from your busy life to this stone-built period cottage nestled in heart of Wales on the riverbank of the Afon Tanat right next to the village church. On your way to the property you ll get to take in some of the most beautiful rural views the country has to offer. The charming village location encapsulates all that is appealing about rural Wales. The village is surrounded by steep hills forests and waterfalls and is an excellent start from which to explore the Berwyn mountains. Just five miles away is the quaint village of Llanfyllin which boasts many shops restaurants and pubs. Or you can drive 30 minutes to Welshpool to visit its vibrant weekly market. Snowdonia National Park is also close by. Other attractions within easy reach are Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway Museum Revolution Mountain bike park Lake Vyrnwy water sports centre and the RSPB Bird Reserve where you could see the Ospreys feeding from the lake. A stone s throw from the property is also one of The Seven Wonders of Wales the magnificent Llanrhaeadr waterfall. This period cottage has been lovingly renovated very recently keeping the original oak beams for a true country aesthetic. In the spacious lounge is an inglenook fireplace with log burner and a TV/DVD. Enjoy the evenings taking country walks reading a book or the family can enjoy the separate snug with TV/DVD and Xbox games console. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped with an electric oven grill and halogen hob microwave dishwasher fridge/freezer and washing machine. Walk up each morning and let the fresh air in whilst you drink your morning coffee in the fresh breeze. There is also a spacious twin bedroom and a bathroom with bath pedestal wash basin and WC. The traditional elements remain throughout the property and are reminiscent of a bygone era. Heading outside you ll find a private patio in a beautiful mature walled garden. There s garden furniture and a BBQ for you to enjoy on summer days.
