For a change of scene the cathedral city of Ripon can be reached within a twenty-minute drive of the property and is an interesting place for a day trip as is nearby Harrogate. Other popular attractions in the area meanwhile include Lightwater Valley theme park Brimham Rocks the water garden at Studley Royal and Bolton Abbey. This property is set on the first floor of a detached farm building and is accessed via a flight of external steps which lead up to the front door. Once inside guests will find a homely and welcoming place to stay starting with the comfortable lounge. Outside the property guests have access to the spacious grounds which include a pretty garden with a lawned games area where they can play croquet and table tennis as well as an orchard which is home to a resident flock of sheep and a small woodland walk area with a wildlife pond.
