About Instow Holiday House
This property is situated in the pretty waterfront village of Instow home to the North Devon Yacht Club as well as a number of interesting craft workshops a choice of eateries and a lovely sandy beach backed by sand dunes. In the summer months a ferry runs across the estuary to the nearby village of Appledore a traditional fishing village which makes a great place to spend the evening sampling the fare in the restaurants and pubs. Other attractions within a short drive of the property include The Big Sheep adventure park Northam Burrows Country Park and the two-mile wide sandy beach at Westward Ho! At the heart of this attractive period property is the spacious lounge/diner where comfortable seating surrounds the cosy wood burner and the exposed beams and brick fireplace add to the authentic feel of the room. There is a TV with Sky channels for guests to enjoy whilst the dining area occupies a raised platform off to one side of the room. The kitchen is equipped with everything that guests will need to make themselves at home including a Range oven hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Also on the ground floor is a handy shower room with WC great for washing away sand and suncream after a trip to the beach. A spiral staircase leads from the ground floor up to the first-floor accommodation where the property s four bedrooms and the bathroom are located. There are two relaxing double rooms and two twins both of which can be made up as king-size rooms on request thanks to the zip-and-link beds. The bathroom offers a bath and WC. Outside there is a patio garden with steps leading up to a raised decked area which has garden furniture perfect for enjoying drinks in the sun. There is roadside parking available as well as a car park at the school opposite the property.
