This property is situated on a working dairy farm in the North Devonshire countryside with the coast fifteen miles to the west and Exmoor National Park a similar distance to the north-east. The area immediately surrounding the farm is dotted with charming villages including the nearby village of High Bickington where visitors will find a choice of pubs and a handy village shop and post office. A taste of traditional Devonshire life can be experienced in the towns and villages clustered around the Torridge estuary including the harbour town of Bideford and the fishing village of Appledore. For beach lovers the two-mile wide beach at Westward Ho! is within a thirty-minute drive of the property. This barn conversion property has a lovely spacious feel to it which guests will discover as soon as they enter the dual-aspect lounge with its comfortable sofa and armchairs TV/DVD and French windows which lead out to the property s private enclosed garden. The kitchen/diner is also a lovely spacious room with a slate floor dining table seating six DAB radio and a wall-mounted TV. The kitchen area itself is equipped with an oven hob microwave fridge freezer dishwasher and a washing machine so there really is nothing that guests will have to go without. There is also a convenient ground-floor WC. Upstairs there are two bedrooms both of which benefit from their own TV. The first is a king-size room whilst the second is a restful twin room which can be made up as a super-king-size on request. The bathroom offers a shower-over-bath and WC. Immediately outside the property there is an enclosed garden to the rear which has garden furniture and for which a gas BBQ is provided. A path from here leads to relaxing hot tub which has a covered changing area and offers uninterrupted stunning countryside views across the neighbouring fields. There is also a well-equipped shared children s play area with swings a climbing frame and a trampoline: perfect for burning off energy! For many the chance to participate in a farm tour which can be organised by arrangement with the owner offers an interesting look at farm life. There is ample parking available.
