Healaugh is a delightful hamlet just 1 mile west of the capital of Swaledale Reeth which includes shops bakeries pubs restaurants and popular weekly market. 10 miles to the east is the market town of Richmond The property is situated right on the coast to coast route and has featured in 2014 Tour de France route which makes it popular with walking and cycling enthusiasts. Stepping stones allow you to cross the river Swale and the river beach is nearby. Walking fishing cycling shooting and canoeing are all available nearby. On opening the gate of the property and seeing the rose covered barn with its magnificent views over Harkerside Moor you immediately have a sense of calm relaxation. The barn is set in a beautiful garden with stunning scenery of the Yorkshire dales National Park in every direction. You enter the traditional stone barn from the first floor where you can find a mezzanine lounge and the first bedroom which is a cosy twin bedroom. Heading down the stairs to the ground floor you can find the characterful sitting room with exposed beams an imposing Inglenook fireplace with warming multi-fuel burner comfy seating and TV/DVD. The kitchen offers an electric oven and hob microwave washing machine and fridge/freezer. Once you have prepared your evening meal enjoy dining with your guests in the adjacent dining room. The ground floor is home to a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. The main bathroom is also located on the ground floor and is equipped with a bath and WC. Outside there is an enclosed four-tiered south facing garden with fruit trees and ample outside seating picnic bench and sun loungers perfect for Alfresco dining those lazy summer afternoons.
