Approaching the cottage down the short country track this rural idyll emerges from the hillside to reveal a 300 year old shippon and barn conversion which commands a wonderful setting with exceptional vistas of the surrounding countryside in all directions. For walkers there are numerous trails across the Goyt Valley Kinder Scout Edale and for those seeking something a little more challenging the beginning of the Pennine Way is nearby. The three bedroom property embraces its history and charm maintaining much of its original feature and characters throughout. Stepping inside the barn the original tithe trusses hang above the entrance hall with a wonderful galleried landing. These original touches can be found throughout the property including a stained glass window which adds to the feeling of warmth. The spacious lounge with its stone fireplace and open fire is a central feature and the perfect place to cosy up on cold nights. The exposed beams and stonework can be found in nearly all the rooms making them light and full of character.
