The tiny hamlet of Forest Chapel sits just a short walk from the Forest of Macclesfield and its many footpaths cycle trails and reservoirs. Located on the western edge of the Peak District the cottage is ideally situated for keen walkers wishing to climb the Shining Tor or Shutlingsloe and take in the fantastic scenery below. For those looking to soak up a bit of local culture the stately homes of Lyme Park Adlington Capestone and Gawsworth Halls are all within easy reach. Enter the pretty cottage which is attached to the school house via a long flagged hall the perfect place to store muddy boots and wet coats. From the hall continue through to the family kitchen which displays cream painted cabinets wooden worktops a beamed ceiling oak walled timbers a farmhouse table and plenty of windows flooding the room with light.
