Situated at the top of the village of Brassington approached via a single track lane through the rolling countryside. A footpath leads from the front door to the High Peak Trail making this property the perfect destination for walkers. Outdoor enthusiasts won t be bored at nearby Carsington Water with its nature trails cycling windsurfing and canoeing or simply spend the day outdoors bird watching. The open plan ground floor living space is bright and spacious. The lower level sitting area with a log burning stove provides a great spot for relaxing and just a couple of steps lead up to the gallery kitchen and dining area complete with all the necessities. Upstairs on the landing which is split by an impressive king post truss there are three bedrooms; a king size double bedroom a queen size double bedroom and finally a third bedroom with a 4 double bed. All the bedrooms have lovely wooden floors giving them a great sense of character and charm. There is also a bathroom on this floor with a bath shower-over hand basin and toilet. Guests requiring car parking can find a parking area located just 25 yards from the property. After a day spent outdoors be it at Carsington Water or traversing the footpaths across the undulating hills the award-winning local pub offers a great spot for a well-earned break.
