A very short walk along a footpath takes guests to the nearby pretty village of Edale and its local amenities. The village offers groceries a post office and even a railway station making Mary s cottage easily accessible by both rail and road. For those guests who enjoy a good pub walk the surrounding countryside offers spectacular walks and for those who have worked up an appetite the village local of The Rambler Inn awaits. The cottage is approached via a farm track which adds to the idyllic rural feel of the property. Entry to the cottage is through the kitchen at the back of the property. The cosy kitchen area is fully equipped with everything guests require during their stay. Embracing open plan living the kitchen blends seamlessly with the lounge-diner which contains a woodburner that s perfect for creating an inviting ambience for a cosy night in. The wooden beam ceiling adds to the country cottage charm of the property and the lounge windows frame the delightful garden views. Upstairs the cottage has two bedrooms. The first spacious bedroom contains a double bed and an exposed beam gives the room an enchanting quality. The second bedroom contains two single beds and also has an exposed beam. There is a bathroom with a bath shower toilet and hand basin. Outside the cottage benefits from spacious open plan gardens located to the front of the property. There is also a BBQ and garden furniture for evenings spent outdoors. Mary s Cottage is one of two properties in this location. Booked together they can sleep up to nine people.
