Situated just a few minutes walk from the pretty Peak District village of Edale which offers local amenities including groceries a post office and railway station Jim s Cottage is ideally positioned for making the most of the surrounding landscape. The nearby Pennine Way offers challenging walks and after a day spent traversing the Peaks guests can head to the local pub The Rambler Inn for a much needed sit down. Jim s Cottage is an early 17th Century property that is brimming with character. There is a good size kitchen-dining area with exposed beams that provide a wonderful sense of cottage charm. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials that guests will require during their stay. The cosy lounge has a woodburner and a gritstone fireplace which provides a central feature to the room and creates an inviting ambience for those cosy nights in. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. The main bedroom contains a king size bed as well as a small single bed if required (suitable for a child). The second bedroom has two single beds. Both rooms are bright and airy with lovely windows and a cosy cottage feel. The bathroom perfectly completes this charming cottage and contains a bath shower-over toilet and hand basin. Outside there are wonderful gardens with lawns at the front. There is also a stone flagged seating area for enjoying BBQs and taking in the beauty of the surrounds.
