With an array of forest walks right on the doorstep this charming cottage is ideal for exploring the New Forest National Park. Brockenhurst village is a ten minutes stroll from the cottage and has local shops where you can pick up essentials; make sure you keep an eye out for the roaming New Forest ponies along the way. Other great things to do within the area include horse riding at Ford Farm Stables admiring the pretty villages of Beaulieu Lymington or Lyndhurst or perfecting your swing on a round or two at Brockenhurst Manor Golf Club. It s only a ten minute drive to the beautiful beaches that the Solent has to offer too if you fancy a day at the seaside. With charming exposed beams throughout the ground floor the property is a welcoming and homely space to catch up with the whole family and relax after a busy day exploring. The open plan living and dining room boasts views overlooking the open forest where you can spot ponies cows and donkeys meandering up and down the lane. Unwind in the evening in front of the traditional woodburner after cooking up a feast in the fully equipped kitchen complete with signature beams and exposed brickwork which really adds to the country feel of the room. There is a handy utility room adjacent to the kitchen perfect for storing your walking boots or parking the buggy and a separate WC on the ground floor. Upstairs are three country style bedrooms the master bedroom with a double bed and ensuite second bedroom with two single beds and a third bedroom with another double bed and wonderful forest views. The family bathroom upstairs has a deep bath separate corner shower sink and WC. The small south facing patio area outside of the property is ideal for outdoor dining with table and chairs and gorgeous garden views. For parking there is one space outside of the front of the property on the road. Need to know: Wi Fi. Rangemaster cooker, gas hob, electric ovens, microwave, fridge/freezer. Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, and iron and ironing board. Woodburner and logs provided from September to March. Bed linen and bath towels provided (cot bedding and beach towns on available). Heating and utilities included. Parking for one car outside the property on the road, further parking further down the lane. 32 flat screen TV. Smoking is not permitted. Garden area with table and chairs.
