Set within a peaceful courtyard setting surrounded by 130 acres where cows and sheep quietly reside this property sits between the two tranquil villages of Tehidy and Park Bottom. Portreath with its gorgeous beach is also under two miles away and here you can also find shops restaurants and pubs. From here you can continue to explore the stunning coastline of North Cornwall including surfing beaches sheltered coves and the South West Coast Path. The larger towns of Redruth and Camborne are also close by if you are looking for a wider choice of shops and places to eat. This cottage is ideal for a walking holiday as it directly connects to a network of footpaths which lead to Tehidy Country Park and the South West Coast Path here there is a lake golf course and café. The property is a one-storey barn retaining many original features and consists of two bedrooms a bathroom a lounge and a kitchen/diner. There is one king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC as well as a zip-and-link twin bedroom which can be made into a double on request. The family-size bathroom contains a shower over bath and WC. In the lounge guests will find ample seating as well as a TV/DVD and cosy wood burner; the first basket of logs for this is also included with your stay. The well-equipped kitchen contains a family-sized dining area electric oven and gas hob fridge/freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer. Bed linen towels Free WiFi electric and central heating are all included. From the lounge French doors open out onto the large enclosed lawn garden. Enjoying south-facing views the garden also features a patio garden furniture and a BBQ. Guests are also free to explore the surrounding farmland. Ample off-road parking is provided. A well-kept footpath can be reached directly from the cottage leading to a larger network of footpaths as Tehidy Country Park.
