Once the old village school house this comfortable home from home is a great base for a holiday to fit all. The very pleasant village of Otley and neighbouring Ilkley have a good selection of shops restaurants and pubs and good walks in stunning scenery up on Ilkley Moor. With its excellent location at the gateway to the Dales it is a walker s dream. Keen cyclists will be spoilt for choice of routes; the Tour De Yorkshire 2017 passed right past the front door before heading off to Bolton Abbey. It has excellent road and rail links to popular Yorkshire towns of Harrogate Skipton Leeds and York. Approaching the Old School House you will head through a private entrance up stairs to a large hallway where you will find each of the 5 rooms. The kitchen is a great space well equipped and complete with dining table for 4 people to enjoy meals together then stick the pots in the dishwasher and head to the big lounge which fills with the light from the patio doors put your feet up and relax and unwind. Head off to bed and sink into either a double bedroom or spacious twin. The bathroom has both a bath to soak in after a long day walking or a shower to get you refreshed and ready for a day s exploring. From the lounge you can step out through the patio doors onto the wonderful balcony and enjoy a coffee in the morning sun while you look out over beautifully manicured shared gardens and the prominent church spire. The owners will happily securely store your bikes after a long day cycling.
