There are some wonderful beaches less than four miles away and the coast is dotted with traditional seaside towns such as Dawlish Teignmouth Exmouth Torquay and Paignton. Both the cathedral city of Exeter and the rugged landscape of Dartmoor which is a haven for wildlife and walkers are a short drive away. Nearby attractions included Crealy Devon Adventure Park Babbacombe Model Village River Dart Country Park as well as numerous National Trust properties and gardens. Once the front section of the original old stables and hayloft dating back to the 16th century this property is constructed of natural stone huge original elm beams and offers magnificent views of pure unobstructed Devon countryside. On the ground floor you will find the large beamed farmhouse-style kitchen complete with all the appliances you will need for a comfortable stay. These include a large range cooker microwave and coffee maker; a separate utility room houses the washing machine dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The kitchen leads on to the dining area with a table to seat everyone after a long day of exploring. The spacious lounge enjoys amazing views across the countryside and beyond to the sea. There is a TV DVD hi-fi large natural stone inglenook fireplace and wood burner (first basket of logs included). On the first floor you will find the three bedrooms which consist of two very large king-size rooms with impressive four-poster beds both with exposed elm beams beautiful views antique furnishings and en-suite bathrooms. One has a shower over bath and WC and the other has a shower and WC. There is a further twin room with its own en-suite shower room with WC. Outside you will have access to an enclosed patio large private gardens and a gas BBQ where on sunny evenings you can relax with a glass of wine or explore the extensive grounds. There is ample parking available.
