Located near the desirable historic town of Winchelsea the property is within easy reach of the local pub coffee shop and medieval church. Winchelsea Beach is just a five minute drive away where guests can enjoy long walks along the pebbled front before enjoying a bite to eat in the cafe. The medieval seaside town of Rye is less than three miles away which boasts independent cafes shops and restaurants offering freshly caught seafood and collectable antiques. The front door opens into a porch through to the inviting sitting room. With exposed ceiling beams leaded windows and a large inglenook fireplace housing an open fire this is a cosy yet spacious room in which to unwind with a good book or a film. The kitchen beyond is light and bright with a sloped ceiling and large windows. Decorated in a farmhouse style with stone floor tiles an Aga and wooden worktops it contains everything you should need throughout your day. There is a smaller round table in the kitchen that s perfect for breakfasts and lunches while a separate dining room with a beamed ceiling and feature fireplace is ideal for evening meals. On the first floor the master bedroom with double bed enjoys spectacular views across to Rye and Camber through a long leaded window while both the walls and ceiling are lined with exposed beams. This room benefits from an en-suite bathroom with WC while the charming twin bedroom next door shares a bathroom with separate shower and WC. On the second floor you ll find two attic single bedrooms ideal for children as they have lower ceilings. Outside a pretty courtyard with charcoal BBQ and table and chairs gives way to a lawned garden above bordered by box hedging and mature shrubs. Need to know: Off street parking for one car.
