Located just a five minute walk from the centre of medieval Rye this property is ideally located to make the most of its many independent shops cafes and restaurants where guests can pick up anything from freshly caught seafood to antique furniture. Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is nearby and makes for excellent walks so does Camber Sands which boasts a long stretch of soft golden sand wonderful dunes and safe swimming spots. Inside the light and airy lounge features a comfortable sofa and vintage armchair. A feature fireplace adds yet more character while a wooden display cabinet houses board games and books. The lounge is open-plan to a large dining room which has an oak marquetry table beneath a 1960s chandelier. Enjoy your meals to the nostalgic sound of the record player or a more contemporary melody from an iPod. Next door the kitchen is fresh and bright. Here you ll find an electric Rangemaster double oven and five electric induction rings a microwave cafetiere washing machine and digital radio. Upstairs is the half landing where you ll find a stunning bathroom with roll-top bath shower over bath a separate hand held shower basin and WC. On the first floor there is one bedroom with double bed and vintage wardrobe and another large room with twin cast iron beds and an antique side table. On the second floor you ll find the third bedroom with king-size bed located in the eaves of the house. This cosy hideaway features a chandelier Turkish brass bedside tables and vintage wicker chair. Outside a patio area with seating circus lights and a BBQ gives way to a lawn bordered by plants and shrubs.
