The property is surrounded by fields and open Kent countryside with an abundance of footpaths on the doorstep for walkers and dogs. The village of Wittersham boasts a pretty 13th century church community market and traditional pub. Head south towards the coast and you ll reach the medieval town of Rye which is well worth a visit for its selection of independent pubs restaurants and antiques shops while nearby Camber boasts miles of soft golden sand and safe swimming spots. The entrance to the property opens into the spacious lounge which is lined with exposed beams a wooden coffee table and comfortable sofas one of which is a sofa bed that face a fireplace with woodburner. One of the sofas converts to a bed sleeping an extra guest at an additional charge. At the other end of the room is the farmhouse-style kitchen. Here you ll find a Butler s sink electric oven and hob microwave washing machine fridge with ice compartment and dishwasher. Also on this floor is a downstairs bathroom. Upstairs the double and twin bedrooms both feature exposed beams and low vaulted ceilings creating the feel of a cosy hidden hideaway. Outside the cottage has its own small private garden which is set to lawn with garden furniture. By prior arrangement you may also access the owners extended garden with its tree house tennis court and open-air swimming pool
