The immediate area offers superb walking with a network of delightful footpaths straight from the village. Exmoor National Park is nearby and offers marvellous scenery. The famous Tarka Trail is also within easy reach for walkers and cyclists. The famous beaches of North Devon including Woolacombe and Croyde can all be reached easily for surfing or days by the sea. There are plenty of small towns to enjoy including Ilfracombe Bideford and Barnstaple. You can head out to Lundy Island for a day trip or visit one of the many other attractions including The Big Sheep Exmoor Zoo Quince Honey Farm Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park Watermouth Castle and Arlington Court amongst many others.
