Part of the Montagu Estate this period cottage is one of two properties in a charming Georgian terrace. Bucklers Hard situated on the banks of the River Beaulieu has a rich maritime history. The New Forest offering miles of wonderful walks as well as many pretty picnic spots can be reached directly from the doorstep. Beaulieu is the nearest town and is home to attractions including the National Motor Museum and a Cistercian Abbey. The towns of Brocklehurst Lymington and Lyndhurst are also nearby as are attractions including Marwell Zoo the North Solent National Nature Reserve and Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway. On the ground floor of the property there is a bathroom lounge dining room and a kitchen. The bathroom has a shower over bath and WC while the cosy lounge has a Smart TV basic Sky TV package and a DVD. A sofa bed is also available in the lounge for additional guests on request; this will sleep one adult or two children. The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob fridge/freezer microwave and dishwasher. Reached via steep cottage-style stairs with rope hand rail which leads to the first floor where there are two bedrooms. These consist of one king-size bedroom and one twin bedroom which is accessed via the king-size bedroom. Outside the property there is a spacious enclosed garden perfect for relaxing and playing with the children. Garden furniture and a BBQ are also provided should you wish to dine al fresco on a summer s day. Parking is available off-site at a nearby car park subject to availability however guests are free to unload outside of the property.
