Just minutes from junction seven or eight on the M40 this beautiful cottage is in the hamlet of North Weston a mile from the picturesque market town of Thame where you will find a choice of pubs and restaurants as well as the leisure centre. The cottage enjoys a rural location with the bonus of a bus stop at the end of the drive for Oxford Thame or Aylesbury. Haddenham train station is about five miles for links to London/Marylebone Bicester Banbury or Warwick so whilst a car is handy for visits to nearby attractions such as Waddesdon Manor Hartwell House at Stone or Chiltern Open Air Museum there is plenty of public transport on hand. Entering the cottage the first room welcoming you is the large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner; the beautiful beams and limestone floor combine for an elegant and homely space with underfloor heating making sure that even in winter your feet are kept warm. The lounge features comfortable soft furnishings including a sofa bed and a TV/DVD the ideal space for relaxing in and watching a film after a long day of exploring. The dining table is large enough to seat up to six people so if you decide to whip up a home-cooked meal whilst away there s plenty of room to enjoy it together. The kitchen itself is well-equipped with everything you could need with beautiful worktops and fitted units making it feel anything but a chore cooking in there; comprising of an electric oven and hob fridge/freezer dishwasher microwave and washing machine it s a stunning space to spend time in. There is also a WC downstairs. On the first floor there are two spacious bedrooms full of character with beamed ceilings.The master bedroom features a double bed TV and French doors opening up to a Juliet balcony whilst the second has twin single beds. The bathroom also has elm beams as a prominent feature of the room and comprises of a bath separate shower cubicle and WC. Doors from the lounge lead out to the private patio area complete with garden furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining in the summer. There is also 270 acres of farmland surrounding the property so you won t be short of open land to roam around on! There is ample off-road parking.
