This rural barn is set in an elevated position with outstanding views at the edge of a farm and former Royal hunting lodge. Close to the village of Shipton-under-Wychwood five miles from Burford and close to Witney with local shops and pubs this is an excellent base for touring the Cotswolds and Oxford the Malverns and the Shakespearean Stratford-upon-Avon where you could see a play at the RSC and spend a day learning all about the Bard. It s the perfect place to spend time out and about walking and cycling and visiting the top attractions in the Cotswold Oxfordshire and West Midlands area. This cosy barn conversion retains much of its original charm and character and is a perfect destination for a family holiday. On arrival make yourself at home in the open-plan lounge/diner with a high ceiling and gallery created to give a feeling of light and space with long reaching views from the cottage through the huge floor-ceiling French doors. There is ample seating and a TV/DVD. There is also a sofa bed for use. The dining area is equipped so up to ten diners can be accommodated with comfort. The kitchen includes an electric hob and oven a microwave washer dryer and a dishwasher. There is a ground floor double bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC. On the first floor is a bedroom with a zip-and-link twin (which can be made up as a double on request). Close by for convenience is a bathroom with bath and WC. Heading outside you will find a large enclosed garden that surrounds the property with outdoor furniture and a BBQ to grill up some tasty treats. There is off-road parking.
