This splendid holiday cottage is in a lovely spot with views and leisurely walks in the 11-acres of its surrounding grounds so you can relax and enjoy Cotswold life right on your doorstep! The nearby village of Shipton-under-Wychwood has two pubs one with a quiet intimate atmosphere with open fires the other is a bright contemporary pub both of which are known for serving up very good food. They are within walking distance so no need to take the self-catering route every night and there is also a village shop/post office just a few minutes walk. On the edge of Shipton is a request train stop or for a more frequent service Charlbury station is about five miles. The open-plan layout of the property makes for a spacious experience. The lounge/diner/kitchen is well-equipped and has plenty of seating and space to enjoy the SkyTV/DVD and hi-fi. There is also a sofa bed for a maximum of two people. The kitchen area has a gas oven and hob microwave dishwasher fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. The three bedrooms are all tastefully decorated the first of which features a king-size zip-and-link bed (that can be made into a twin upon request). The second is a walk-through room which has three steps up and again has a king-size zip-and-link bed (that can be made into a twin upon request). Through the hallway is a third bedroom again with a king-size zip-and-link bed (that can be made into a twin upon request). Nearby is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC and there is also a shower room by the bedrooms for convenience. Outside is a terrace with garden furniture and BBQ for enjoying summer al fresco dinners and there is also ample parking.
