This cottage is well-situated just a short level walk into the centre of Chipping Norton to a good selection of shops wine bars pubs (some dog friendly) restaurants and a theatre. There is a good bus service from the town into Oxford Blenheim Palace Stratford-upon-Avon or to Banbury. Catch a train from Kingham to London Paddington for a day out in the capital. Chipping Norton itself has a fascinating history which can be delved into at the local museum. There are lots of places of historical interest namely St Mary s Church and The Alms Houses. Lovely walks close to the property include one to Pool Meadow and the fields beyond where there are fabulous views across to Over Norton. After entering through the useful lobby you will find the spacious open plan lounge with ample comfortable seating a cosy wood burner and a TV/DVD with Freeview hi-fi and iPod dock. The kitchen area comes equipped with a gas oven and hob a washing machine a dishwasher a microwave and a fridge/freezer. There is also a WC on the ground floor. Upstairs on the first floor are two double bedrooms and a single bedroom all of which are light and airy making relaxing retreats to retire to at the end of a long day. The bathroom contains a shower over bath and WC. Outside there is a small enclosed garden to the front and a large enclosed space to the rear of the property with a patio and lawn area as well as a BBQ for al fresco dining in the summer. The garden furniture completes the picture making it a great place to unwind after a long day s touring. Please note the rear garden is not attached to the house and is accessed via steep stone steps.
