About Polperro (1ml E) Holiday Barn
Polperro can be reached by walking over the owners expansive farmland and along a country lane and here you ll find plenty to see including the Smuggling Museum and the Model Village. The friendly village also offers plenty of pubs shops and restaurants serving delicious freshly-caught seafood. Looe is another wonderful coastal town found nearby and is home to two lovely beaches. This part of Cornwall is home to a wonderful stretch of coastline with many hidden coves to explore as well as the South West Coast Path. Further afield the maritime city of Plymouth can be easily reached via the Torpoint Ferry where you can spend an entire day shopping and explore areas such as the Barbican and Plymouth Hoe. This inverted barn conversion features two bedrooms as well as a bathroom on the ground floor. Many original features such as wooden beams can be found throughout the property. The first bedroom is a double and features a TV as well as its own en-suite shower room and WC. The second bedroom is a twin and also includes its own TV. Unwind and escape from the world in the relaxing spa bath which is found in the bathroom which also has a WC and a shower attachment. Upstairs guests will find the lounge/kitchen/diner a large open-plan space ideal for spending some quality time together. Oak flooring decorates the space throughout and another stand-out feature of this space is the Juliet balcony approached via the French doors offering some truly tremendous views out onto the surrounding countryside. The lounge is a wonderful place to relax thanks to its wood burner (logs included). Guests can spend the night cosy by the fire enjoying a film on the TV/DVD. The kitchen is supplied with everything you will need during your stay including an electric oven and hob microwave fridge freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer. Outside of the property there is plenty of space to relax and have some family fun. A lawn area with picnic tables is shared with the other properties and is perfect if you wish to dine al fresco. Outdoor games and play facilities are also shared with the other cottages in the complex kids will love playing on the swings and see-saw while all the family can enjoy use of the tennis badminton and football nets. Guests are also free to explore the surrounding farmland owned by the cottage owners where there is a wildlife pond to enjoy as well as fish ducks and chickens to visit. Ample off-road parking is available outside of the cottage.
