Positioned within the owner s grounds the spectacular views across the valley can be enjoyed from the semi-detached cottage or feel free to explore the 9 acres with walks through the woodland and lower meadow down to a big pond. Less than 1 mile away is the small market town of Stratton with a choice of traditional inns or visit the neighbouring seaside town of Bude with its many gift shops galleries and good selection of pubs and restaurants. This bustling town has much to offer with a variety of sandy beaches a canal cliff-top walks along the South West Coast Path boating golf tennis and ten-pin bowling. Alternatively explore the surrounding area with many picturesque fishing villages including Padstow and Clovelly or National Trust properties gardens and local attractions including The Milky Way and The Eden Project all within driving distance. With a choice of several local beaches to enjoy nearby you can also learn how to surf at well-known Widemouth Bay. Inside the property you will find a comfortable lounge with electric wood burner-effect fire Freesat TV DVD and hi-fi to unwind and socialise in after a long day of touring the North Cornwall region. At the top of the rear garden a gate leads on to the shared 1 acre paddock which is great for exercising dogs and has on site play facilities which include swings slides see saw rope ladders and has plenty of space for ball games. You have private use of a shed for the storage of bicycles and surfboards. There is ample parking outside the cottage.
